The Great Give is in full swing! NHCCC and over 500 other local nonprofits are participating in the Community Foundation for Greater New Haven’s Great Give fundraiser this May 6 - 7. This year, we need your help to reach our goal of $10,000 that help partially fund the development of our members’ musicianship for the next three years. Because NHCCC performs on traditional Chinese instruments, uncommon in Connecticut, it is essential for our members to receive instruction during our weekly rehearsals, in order to continue providing high-level cultural and musical experiences enjoyed by our audience members. Since our first performance in January 2024, NHCCC has been a local sensation, in that, most of our audience members are hearing traditional Chinese music for the first time! The result has been so positive that we are starting to get a steady following. More than providing nice sounding music, we are so glad that people in and around New Haven are able to get to know and embrace a culture different from their own. We hope that you join us in supporting this important mission of awareness and inclusion. Any amount will be a big help. We have a matching fund that will match your donation(s) when you give on the platform on May 7 (6 am-12 noon). In addition, The Community Foundation of Greater New Haven is giving away many prizes to organizations with large numbers of unique donors at various hours during the event.
