Summer time is here - 放暑假了！

To wrap up our first season here at NHCCC, members of NHCCC enjoyed performing on the giant stage as a part of International Festival of Arts and Ideas, followed by a picnic on the New Haven Green. Our volunteers helped us set up, break down, and put together a delicious picnic following the show. Thank you, volunteers, for making this day possible!

Looking ahead, we are starting to book performance dates for the fall. Mid-Autumn Festival (or Moon Festival) is early this year (September 17, 2024). We are planning a series of pieces about the season and the moon to go in our fall program.

We are also recruiting musicians for the next season, so if you (or someone you know) already play a traditional Chinese instrument, or if you would like to try your hands on a Chinese instrument, please contact us. Rehearsals start on August 25.

In order to continue giving back to our community, we are offering visits to our rehearsals, mentoring new members in the ensemble, as well as providing instrument rental options for members. We continue to look for support that will help make all these things happen. Support us by donating here.
