Happy New Year! To help ring in the Lunar New Year, NHCCC is playing at several locations near and around New Haven. The following events are open to the public. Please check our our Events Page for more information. 2/21/2026 (Saturday) @ 3:15 pm - NHCCC is returning to Yale’s Peabody Museum for Yale-China Association’s Lunarfest. “The Wondrous Chinese Zodiac“ is a program centered around animals from the Chinese Zodiac. We will feature a full set of songs inspired by the Horse, the Goat, the Rooster, the Ox, the Dragon, and the Snake. As always, Lunarfest offers a full day of free and family-friendly activities open to everyone. 2/28/2026 (Saturday) @ 11 am - This is our third year participating in the amazing community Lunar New Year celebration co-organized by Asian Pacific American Coalition and CT Museum of Culture and History at CT State Community College in Manchester. We will be on the main stage for a short set at 11 am, but there will be fun activities on site all day long. Tickets are free with registration. Use this link to sign up! Again, see our Events Page for more information. 3/1/2026 (Sunday) @ time TBD - We are going to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame in Springfield, Massachusetts! We will be playing at The Chinese American Cultural and Heritage Society’s 4th Annual Lunar New Year Gala. We will play on the pop-up stage, as well as on the main stage during dinner.
