Happy Year of the Snake! NHCCC is opening the 2025 Lunar New Year season with an exciting songlist - “Frantic Dancing with the Gold Dragon,” “New Spring Joy,” “Racing Horse,” and more. This February, NHCCC is performing at several new year events and two of these are free and open to the public. Please check our events page for more information and mark your calendars: February 1 @2 pm: “Dancing with the Gold Snake,” a 45 minute program with Yale-China’s Lunarfest, hosted by Peabody Museum in New Haven. February 22 @2pm: “Meet the instruments in the Year of Snake,” a 30-minute demo/performance with APAC’s Lunar New Year Celebration at CT State Community College in Manchester. Be sure to register for a free ticket for the event!
