The season of Fall is often associated with the Mid-Autumn Festival, harvest moon, and nostalgia, in the traditional Chinese culture. This Fall, NHCCC is sharing a Teresa Teng favorite about the moon and love, a bi-lingual poetry from North Song Dynasty, an energetic percussion song, and a potato digging harvest song from Shanxi, a traditional Chinese dance, and more in its curated Harvest Moon program. Through personal stories and interesting cultural fact, NHCCC is making their sounds and music accessible for all to enjoy. This one-hour performance opens the afternoon of “Celebrate Asian Heritage at New Haven Museum” events. Register for your free ticket to attend here: https://qrco.de/bgND8O
This event is co-sponsored by New Haven Museum and Asian Pacific American Coalition of CT.
