Come celebrate the arrival of The Year of Snake with New Haven Chinese Cultural Cooperative at the Peabody Museum. We are bringing raucous percussion (Chinese drums, gongs, cymbals, bells…), in addition to traditional Chinese music instruments like erhu, dizi, guzheng, yangqin, pipa, ruan, and sheng. Enjoy a truly festive ambiance with many of our new year favorites - “Beautiful Flowers and Full Moon,” “Beaming with Joy,” “Rising Higher Step by Step,“ and more.
